Ian Holmes

Owner

Ian Holmes is the founder and owner of Holmes Custom Renovations LLC, a family-owned exterior remodeling company known for its integrity, craftsmanship, and commitment to client satisfaction. He started the business after relocating his family from Connecticut, where he began his career restoring historic railroad stations and building custom homes — experiences that shaped his passion for quality construction and attention to detail.

Under Ian’s strategic leadership, Holmes Custom Renovations has earned widespread industry recognition. The company has been honored with awards such as Certified Contractors Network’s Company of the Year, the Angi Super Service Award, James Hardie Elite Preferred Partner status, and multiple GuildQuality Guildmaster Awards. Most recently, the company was recognized as the Best of the Best Exterior Home Improvement Company in the greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.

Ian takes personal pride in growing Holmes Custom Renovations from a small, hands-on operation into a well-established and respected company backed by a team of talented professionals. His leadership style is rooted in family values, teamwork, and a deep commitment to doing things the right way — always with the client’s experience at the forefront.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys restoring classic cars, weightlifting, and spending time with his two Australian Cattle Dogs, Aspen and Driggs. Whether he’s in the garage or out on a walk with the dogs, Ian values hard work, loyalty, and the satisfaction that comes from a job well done.

Ian also enjoys giving back to the community by contributing his time and expertise to Habitat for Humanity, helping support others through quality craftsmanship and compassionate service.

He currently resides in Loveland, Ohio, with his wife Lori, who played an integral role in the company before retiring. Today, Ian and his daughter Adriana tag-team the day-to-day operations, continuing to grow Holmes Custom Renovations with the same dedication and values it was built on.

Noah Elmore

Project Consultant

Noah joined Holmes Custom Renovations in 2018, starting as a siding installer and quickly establishing himself as one of our most talented craftsmen. With a background in interior carpentry, water damage restoration, and trauma scene cleanup, Noah brought a wide range of skills to the team. He also grew up working alongside his father, a lifelong carpenter, which helped shape his deep-rooted passion for building.

While construction is in his blood, Noah’s heart has always been in helping others. Prior to entering the trades full-time, he worked in a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities — a role he still speaks of fondly. That same sense of care and connection continues to show up in his work with clients today.

After rising through the ranks to become foreman, Noah transitioned into sales — a goal he had from the start. By 2022, he stepped into the role of Project Consultant full time, where his people skills and extensive hands-on experience truly shine. He thrives on helping clients bring their visions to life, and his natural extroversion allows him to connect easily, understand their needs, and guide them through the renovation process.

Noah has completed multiple professional development trainings through the Certified Contractors Network (CCN), focusing on sales and leadership. He is also certified through the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA), having passed both the Deck Evaluation/Inspection and Decks Done Right education programs — reinforcing his expertise in safe, code-compliant outdoor living projects.

Outside of work, Noah enjoys fishing, boating, reading, and exploring the mountains out west. He has a personal goal of visiting every national park in the U.S. His best friend and loyal sidekick is Indo, his American Eskimo dog, and he also devotes much of his free time to helping raise his two nieces.

Jared

Jared Loucks

Production Manager

Jared has been with Holmes Custom Renovations for over 8 years, starting as a laborer and working his way up through the ranks — first becoming a foreman, then earning his spot as Production Manager in 2023. Along the way, he also served as our top deck installer, known for his precision, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship.

His passion for building began in childhood, working on woodworking projects that laid the foundation for the skilled tradesman he is today. Jared holds certifications through the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA) in both Deck Safety and Decks Done Right, reinforcing his expertise in safe and high-quality outdoor construction.

As Production Manager, Jared leads with experience, ensuring jobs stay on schedule, crews are supported, and every detail meets the Holmes standard. His favorite part of the job? Connecting with clients at the end of a project and seeing their excitement and satisfaction with the final result.

Outside of work, Jared enjoys coaching basketball, doing home projects, hiking, and going to Bengals games. He’s also a big fan of all things Batman.

Jared’s journey from installer to manager is a testament to his work ethic, leadership, and commitment to the team — making him a cornerstone of the Holmes Custom Renovations family.

Adriana Holmes

Office Manager

Adriana Holmes is the heart of day-to-day operations at Holmes Custom Renovations. As Office Manager, she keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes — managing accounting, coordinating appointment scheduling, handling data entry, updating proposals, and maintaining detailed project records across our systems. She also works closely with leadership to coordinate calendars, fine-tune internal workflows, and implement firewalls and process systems that keep the business running smoothly and efficiently.

Adriana’s journey with the company began in 2010, when she joined part-time while still in school. Over time, she gained hands-on experience in bookkeeping and operations, learning the business from the ground up. She briefly stepped away to follow her passion for animals, working as a groom at a hunter-jumper barn, before returning to Holmes Custom Renovations full-time. With over 15 years of combined experience, Adriana has grown right alongside the company — playing a key role in shaping its structure and client experience.

She has completed professional development trainings through the Certified Contractors Network (CCN) with a focus on administration and managerial growth, further sharpening her ability to support both team members and clients alike.

Adriana resides in Milford, Ohio, and enjoys soaking in the outdoors during nature walks with her dog at Miami Meadows Park — one of her favorite ways to unwind. Outside of work, she also enjoys traveling, interior design, and spending time with family, especially watching her niece grow up. She’s passionate about animal welfare and volunteers on day trips with the C.A.R.E. shelter to give dogs a break from the kennels and a chance to connect with the outside world. A fun fact: she’s been a devoted vegan for over three years and loves creating new plant-based recipes from scratch.

Her favorite part of the job? Helping develop and refine systems that enhance the client experience. Adriana brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to everything she touches — making her an invaluable part of the Holmes Custom Renovations team.
